Job Title: Safety Coordinator
Location: Herndon, VA
Project Duration: Approximately 1.5 years
Start Date: Mid-November 2025
Pay: $40–$45/hr

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team on a high-profile commercial project in Herndon. This is a boots-on-ground role, supporting our on-site Safety Manager and ensuring a safe, compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of safety experience in commercial construction, with knowledge of steel erection and precast operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain on-site safety compliance and support daily safety operations
• Work closely with the Safety Manager to implement and enforce safety protocols
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and reporting
• Assist with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures (familiarity desired, not required)
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among all trades

Work Schedule:

• Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (possible overtime)
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00/4:00 PM

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in safety, preferably in commercial construction
• STSC certification desired but not required
• Knowledge of steel erection and precast operations
• Familiarity with LOTO procedures a plus
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Must be a boots-on-ground candidate
