Job Overview
MU Aqua Engineering Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of Mega Union, a Taiwan-based company specializing in water treatment system services and semiconductor process water solutions. As our U.S. operations expand, we are seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee and enforce safety practices across construction sites.

This role is ideal for candidates with construction safety experience who can proactively manage risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture on-site.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct pre-construction safety meetings (Toolbox talks)
  • Perform on-site safety inspections and enforce safety compliance
  • Plan and execute safety training programs for site personnel
  • Organize and document safety meetings (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, conduct root cause analysis, and prepare reports
  • Coordinate with clients on safety-related matters and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Maintain safety documentation, reports, and internal records
  • Track safety issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Conduct risk assessments and pre-construction safety analysis
  • Utilize ERP systems and manage internal documentation

 

Qualifications

  • Education background in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field
  • Experience in construction site safety or related field (entry to mid-level acceptable)
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and site safety practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to enforce safety standards in a dynamic field environment

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor or construction projects
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and compliance standards
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience conducting safety training and toolbox meetings
  • Experience working in international or cross-cultural environments
