Position: Safety Clerk
Location: Long Beach, CA

Were looking for a bilingual, detail-oriented, proactive Safety Clerk to support our transportation safety program. This is not just a desk job its a launchpad for someone who wants to grow into a Safety Director role as they prove their capabilities.

What Youll Do:

• Maintain and audit driver qualification files and training records
• Track and report on HOS (Hours of Service) violations, CSA scores, and accident logs
• Coordinate safety meetings, training schedules, and compliance tasks
• Assist in DOT inspections, post-accident processes, and root cause investigations
• Learn federal and state regulations to support and improve safety initiatives

What You Bring:

• 1+ year experience in a transportation or logistics environment ()
• Strong organizational and data entry skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, managers, and compliance officers, Spanish and English
• Experience with ELD systems (e.g., Samsara, KeepTruckin, etc.) is a plus
• Desire to advance into leadership in Safety
