Day-to-Day of the Role:

  Route & Resource Planning:

  \n

  • Develop and implement efficient daily and long-term route plans.

  \n

  • Monitor workload, capacity, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.

  \n

  • Adjust plans dynamically to accommodate operational changes and customer needs.

  \n

  • Engage in contingency planning and respond swiftly to disruptions.

  \n

  Scheduling & Workforce Coordination:

  \n

  \n
  • Manage rotas and workforce deployment to ensure comprehensive operational coverage.

  \n

  • Proactively identify and resolve resource shortages to prevent service impact.

  \n

\n

  Fleet Operations:

  \n

  \n
  • Coordinate vehicle allocation and utilisation, ensuring all vehicles are available, compliant, and ready for operation.

  \n

  • Maintain close collaboration with fleet providers and operational teams.

  \n

\n

• \n

  Operational Support & Reporting:

  \n

  \n
  • Keep operational records and planning systems up-to-date and accurate.

  \n

  • Generate reports and analyse performance data to support continuous improvement efforts.

  \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in route planning, transport planning, logistics coordination, scheduling, resource planning, or operations coordination.

\n

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

\n

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

\n

• Proficiency in working with data, systems, and reporting tools.

\n

• A proactive approach with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
