Job Description

Roofing Estimator - Flat Pitched Roofs Location: Barnet Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum Type: Full-time, Permanent We are seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator to join a well-established contractor in Barnet, specialising in both flat and pitched roofing projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in roofing who is confident pricing works from enquiry through to submission. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for flat and pitched roofing projects.

Analyse tender documentation and project requirements. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Assess labour, material, and time requirements to produce costings.

Work closely with the contracts team to ensure smooth handover from estimating to delivery. Visit sites to carry out surveys and assessments as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as an estimator within a roofing company or roofing contractor .

Strong technical knowledge of both flat and pitched roofing systems. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
