Roofing Estimator - Flat & Pitched Roofs
Location: Barnet
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator to join a well-established contractor in Barnet, specialising in both flat and pitched roofing projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in roofing who is confident pricing works from enquiry through to submission.

Key Responsibilities:

  Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for flat and pitched roofing projects.

  \n

\n

• \n

  Analyse tender documentation and project requirements.

  \n

\n

• \n

  Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

  \n

\n

• \n

  Assess labour, material, and time requirements to produce costings.

  \n

\n

• \n

  Work closely with the contracts team to ensure smooth handover from estimating to delivery.

  \n

\n

• \n

  Visit sites to carry out surveys and assessments as needed.

  \n

\n

\n

Requirements:

\n
• \n

  Proven experience as an estimator within a roofing company or roofing contractor.

  \n

\n

• \n

  Strong technical knowledge of both flat and pitched roofing systems.

  \n

\n

• \n

  Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

  \n

\n

• \n

  Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

  \n

\n

• \n

  Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.

  \n
