About the Position

As the Operations Manager, you will lead day-to-day branch operations across installations, service, inspections, estimating support, and project management. You will ensure that teams in the field operate safely and efficiently, while also supporting sales, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors. This position plays a central role in shaping the branch culture, improving processes, and aligning the team with Johnson Roofing’s standards for quality, safety, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all branch-level operations including installations, project management, inspections, and service support
• Lead and develop field teams, project staff, and foremen to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient project execution
• Enforce OSHA and internal safety standards; conduct site audits, trainings, and incident reviews
• Oversee scheduling, team deployment, materials planning, and overall project logistics
• Handle client escalations and ensure clear communication, transparency, and timely issue resolution
• Support estimating and sales teams to help secure and execute profitable projects
• Collaborate with HR, accounting, legal, and other departments to address administrative and compliance matters
• Track branch-level KPIs, report performance to leadership, and recommend operational improvements
• Monitor revenue, job costing, budgets, and gross profit targets
• Recruit, train, and mentor operations personnel, ensuring strong bench strength and leadership development
• Represent Johnson Roofing in meetings with clients, vendors, partners, and community stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience launching or scaling a roofing or construction branch/division
• In-depth knowledge of commercial roofing systems and workflows specific to the Texas market
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• CRM experience (DataForma )

Working Conditions

• Full-time, on-site leadership role based in DFW
• Frequent job site travel with exposure to outdoor and construction environments
• May require occasional evenings or weekends for emergency or time-sensitive projects
• Physical activity including walking roofs, climbing ladders, and conducting inspections
• Office duties include communication, reporting, and use of project management software
