$28–$30/hr (based on experience)Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm
Crucial Link is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Wadsworth, OH to add a skilled Robotic MIG Technician to their growing team! This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined technician with hands-on experience programming robotic weld parameters and adjusting tooling for consistent, high-quality welds.
Position OverviewThe Robotic MIG Technician is responsible for operating, programming, and troubleshooting robotic welding systems. This position plays a key role in maintaining weld quality, uptime, and safety standards while supporting production goals.
Responsibilities
- Program and adjust robotic welding parameters to meet print and quality specifications
- Set up and adjust robotic weld fixtures, clamps, sensors, and tooling
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot robotic weld cells (MIG weld systems)
- Conduct weld inspections to ensure quality standards (visual and measurement checks)
- Support changeovers and new job launches with robot path and parameter modifications
- Read blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols
- Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production for continuous improvement
- Document adjustments, downtime, and corrective actions properly
Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience with robotic MIG welding in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to program and modify weld parameters and robot paths (Fanuc, ABB, or Motoman experience a PLUS)
- Understanding of welding fundamentals, shielding gases, wire feed, troubleshooting, etc.
- Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and weld prints
- Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Must pass background check and drug screen
