K.R.T INC. is seeking Riggers to load and unload cargo from cargo vessels located in Chesapeake, VA

Description: Loading and unloading ships requires knowledge of the operation of loading equipment, the proper techniques for lifting and stowing cargo, and correct handling of hazardous materials. In addition, workers must be physically strong and able to follow orders attentively. The worker will hook the cargo to the crane and the crane will transport the cargo from the ship onto the dock or truck. Once the crane returns, workers will repeat this process until the cargo is fully removed from the ship.

• Duration: 2/5/2024 - 2/29/2024
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week w/ possible Overtime.
• Shift Options: Morning Shift OR Night Shift
  • Morning Shift: Monday - Sunday
    • Hours: 6:00AM - 6:00 PM (12-Hours)
  • Night Shift: Monday - Sunday
    • Hours: 6:00PM - 6:00AM (12-Hours)

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver License
• MUST have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
• MUST be willing to work the entire 12-hour shift.
• MUST arrive on-time.
