Rigger & Crane Operator

NRL are currently recruiting for Riggers to work on behalf of multiple clients in the Nuclear and Gas Power Generation sector on power plant outages across the UK. Responsibilities include: Maneuver loads using heavy equipment and or by hand, including the inspection and preparation of the load, setting up, alignment and selection of appropriate rigging/hoisting/grappling equipment. Inspection, maintenance and monitoring of all rigging equipment and cranes including the reporting of faulty equipment Review and interpret Lifting Plans, RAMS and LOLER regulations alongside supervisor or appointed person. Participation in pre-job briefs before each lift. Ensuring all laydown areas are prepared and kept clean. Adhere to site and client safety protocols including the completion of all necessary documentation. Other duties as required Experience & Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Engineering and Construction Moving Loads or equivalent CCNSG Safety Passport as minimum Overhead Crane Experience on power generation projects, large construction projects and or heavy engineering environments
