Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Description: Job Title: RiggerPosition SummaryThe Rigger is responsible for the safe setup, operation, and dismantling of rigging equipment used to lift, move, or secure heavy loads. This role ensures that all rigging activities comply with safety standards, engineering specifications, and operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesRigging Setup & OperationAssemble and install rigging gear such as ropes, cables, pulleys, winches, hoists, and cranes.Inspect and maintain rigging equipment before, during, and after use.Calculate load weights, angles, and center of gravity to ensure safe lifts.Attach loads to lifting equipment using slings, shackles, and chains.Safety & ComplianceFollow OSHA and company-specific safety guidelines.Use hand signals or radios to communicate with crane operators and ground crews.Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.Coordination & CommunicationWork closely with crane operators, signal persons, and other crew members.Read and interpret blueprints, lift plans, and engineering drawings.Assist in planning lifts and load movements. $22.00 - $26.00 Hourly
