The Opportunity:

As an Endless Rod Unit (ERU) Assistant at Lifting Solutions, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of ERU equipment during field jobs. You will assist with equipment mobilization, setup, and operation while working alongside ERU Operators to deliver high-quality service to our clients. This is a field-based, hands-on role with opportunities for skill development and career advancement within the ERU operations team.


Responsibilities:

In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:

  • Assist with the preparation, mobilization, setup, and operation of ERU equipment at client sites.
  • Support ERU Operators during field jobs, including handling tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and client site protocols.
  • Maintain accurate field documentation, service records, and safety checklists.
  • Participate in training and development programs to advance to higher operator levels.
  • Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment both on-site and in the shop.

Requirements:

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or technical training is an asset.
  • Entry-level or up to 1 year of experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, or field operations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning ERU equipment operation.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to field protocols.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding, outdoor environments with regular travel to client sites.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
