The Opportunity:
As a Rig Assistant at Lifting Solutions, you will play a key role in supporting rig operations by handling equipment, preparing job sites, and assisting the field team with day-to-day rig activities. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the oilfield and develop a career in field operations while working in physically demanding outdoor environments.
Responsibilities:
In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:
- Assist in rigging up and rigging out equipment at job sites.
- Handle tools, hoses, and materials safely and efficiently.
- Support field crews during installations, repairs, and service activities.
- Perform equipment maintenance, cleaning, and preparation as directed.
- Follow all company safety protocols and site-specific procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area on-site.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Rig Supervisor or Field Lead.
Requirements:
Your Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous oilfield or rig experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Willingness to travel to remote field locations and work variable shifts.
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
