Job Title: RF/Electronic Test Technician
Location: Colchester, Essex
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 basic

Key Responsibilities - RF/Electronic Test Technician
Set up and operate RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analysers, network analysers, power meters).
Interpret circuit diagrams and PCB schematics to test, fault-find and repair to component level.
Test and configure systems to meet specific customer requirements.
Carry out production testing, generate reports, and ensure results meet internal specifications.
Diagnose and repair faulty finished goods.
Support test development by building test fixtures and configuring ATS set-ups.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve quality and resolve issues.
Maintain and calibrate test equipment as required.
Experience & Skills Required - RF/Electronic Test Technician
Commercial experience in electronics manufacturing, ideally in RF infrastructure or wireless video equipment.
Solid understanding of IP networks and digital/analogue electronics.
Proficient in fault-finding to component level, with the ability to rework and replace components.
Familiarity with IPC standards.
Able to work collaboratively under tight deadlines, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Why Apply?
