A full-service engineering and construction management firm is seeking a motivated CAD/Revit Drafter to support the design and drafting of electrical building systems. This role is based in Johnstown, PA and will contribute to high-impact projects including commercial office spaces, government buildings, and mission-critical data centers.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Revit and have a foundational understanding of building electrical systems. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level professional or recent graduate to join a collaborative, fast-paced team and grow their technical drafting skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed CAD drawings and Revit models for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, telecommunications, and security

Assist in the setup of project documentation, diagrams, and layouts in Revit and BIM360 platforms

Apply fundamental drafting techniques while coordinating with engineers across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines

Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and adherence to client and project requirements

Support ongoing design efforts through updates, documentation, and model maintenance throughout the project lifecycle
Required Qualifications:

Associate degree or technical diploma in Engineering Technology, CAD, Drafting, or a related field

0–2 years of experience in building systems drafting (electrical experience )

Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and 3D modeling tools

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a team-based environment

Willingness to work occasional overtime and travel to job sites as needed
