Pay Rate: $28/hour (contract role)
Schedule: Full-time

About the Role

We are hiring a Retirement Operations Analyst to support retirement account operations. This role involves processing contributions, distributions, conversions, and tax reporting, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with IRS rules. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with retirement products or services.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile retirement account transactions (contributions, distributions, conversions, recharacterizations)

• Handle customer requests and resolve retirement account issues

• Execute money movement requests and validate data accuracy

• Support tax reporting (590A, 590B, 1099R, 1099Q, 5498, 5498ESA)

• Maintain compliance with IRS contribution and distribution rules

• Document resolutions and support data integrity in client-facing systems

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

• 1–2 years of experience with retirement products/services

• Knowledge of IRS retirement rules and tax forms

• Proficiency in Excel

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

This is a full-time, onsite contract position in Jersey City, NJ. Pay rate is $28/hour.
