Description

FarmaKeio Albuquerque Compounding Pharmacy is seeking an experienced and professional Retail and Customer Service Specialist to be the welcoming face of our advanced 503A compounding pharmacy!

This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist all customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, ensuring their needs are met quickly and effectively, with special attention to our Spanish-speaking community.

  • Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately managing cash, credit, and insurance payments.

  • Keep the retail area clean, organized, and appealing, making sure product displays are well-stocked and follow brand standards.

  • Work with pharmacy leaders to execute seasonal promotions, new product launches, and sales events, while confirming all displays meet regulatory requirements.

  • Help manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.

  • Handle incoming phone calls, directing inquiries and providing administrative support to the pharmacy team, including translation support as needed.

  • Inform customers about over-the-counter products and services, using your strong product expertise.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing retail role, such as a cashier, sales associate, or customer service representative, preferably in drug stores, pharmacies, or gas stations.

  • Proven strong customer service skills with a track record of positive customer interactions.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with demonstrated proficiency in verbal communication.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.

  • Basic computer skills; experience with retail software systems is a plus.
