  • Resource Identification and Sourcing:

    • Research and identify cost-effective suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and labor.

    • Analyze market trends to find opportunities for bulk purchasing or alternative materials that meet project specifications.

    • Develop and maintain a database of reliable, low-cost resource options.

  • Cost Analysis and Optimization:

    • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to compare traditional and alternative resources, ensuring alignment with project budgets.

    • Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.

    • Monitor and report on cost savings achieved through resource optimization strategies.

  • Project Support:

    • Assist in preparing project budgets, schedules, and resource plans, focusing on cost-efficient solutions.

    • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure resources are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

    • Review and update resource plans to adapt to project changes or unexpected challenges.

  • Supplier and Vendor Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.

    • Evaluate vendor performance based on cost, quality, and reliability, recommending improvements or changes as needed.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare detailed reports on resource sourcing strategies, cost savings, and supplier performance.

    • Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.

    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

  • Position will develop into Management role.
