Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems, including split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and ductless mini-splits.

Maintain high-quality craftsmanship and rigorous quality control on all service calls.

Manage service calls efficiently, prioritizing customer satisfaction and timely resolution.

Ensure a safe, clean work environment, adhering to PPE requirements.

Maintain a stocked, organized company vehicle and manage issued tools/equipment.

Lead fieldwork, coordinating with Service Coordinator for parts, scheduling, and labor.

Communicate daily schedules and service updates with Service Coordinator.

Submit accurate timecards, service reports, and inspection documentation.

Engage with homeowners on arrival, issues found, and service completion.

Recommend repairs or upgrades, collaborating with sales for proposals.

Perform additional duties to support team and customer success.
Minimum Qualifications

8–10 years of residential HVAC service experience.

Associate’s degree or equivalent training/experience in HVAC or related field.

EPA Universal Certification and applicable state HVAC licensing (e.g., TDLR registration).

Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing residential HVAC systems (split systems, heat pumps, ductless units).

Strong quality control skills for consistent, high-standard service delivery.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, or similar tools, and smartphone use.

Effective communication, leadership, and time management for service calls.

Ability to read wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.

Provide basic hand tools (e.g., gauges, meter, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers).

Self-sufficient, team-oriented, and passionate about customer service.

Commitment to ongoing training and industry knowledge expansion.

Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as needed.

Valid driver’s license with 3+ years of registered driving history.

Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Lift and maneuver equipment, parts, and tools (50+ lbs).

Work on ladders, in attics, crawlspaces, and at elevated heights.

Operate in confined spaces and varying temperatures (hot/cold climates).
