Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance, repair and/or propose replacement of gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, electric furnaces, packaged units, mini split systems, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, electronic air filters, air purification systems and zoning systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve/repair all issues to keep equipment operating properly
• Test and check each system after completing service/repair to ensure the system is working properly.
• Perform a proper inspection of the customers hvac system to avoid future problems
• Explain each service and repair performed to customers
• Evaluate systems and assist the customer in making a purchasing decision through detailed education of the needs of the current system as well as a thorough cost/benefit analysis of purchasing a new system
• Accurately document services performed in invoices via iPad
• Participate in all company sponsored training classes.

Qualifications:

• Must have prior, successful experience as a Service Technician in the HVAC industry
• Must display strong communication skills and technical abilities
• GED or High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable hvac experience in a residential service and maintenance operation.
• Knowledge of local and national hvac codes
• Basic cost estimating experience
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
