Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay: $22–$26/hour DOE

Role snapshot

  • Keep an apartment community safe, operational, and resident-ready.
  • Deliver fast, high-quality service on work orders and unit turns.
  • Support building systems health through preventive maintenance.

Core tasks

  • Routine and preventative maintenance in apartments, common areas, and building systems.
  • Diagnostics and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
  • Efficient work order completion with strong resident communication.
  • Turn support: painting, cleaning, repairs to prepare homes for new .
  • Emergency response participation (on-call rotation may apply).
  • Tool/parts upkeep and adherence to safety standards and policies.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in maintenance; multifamily/property management experience .
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
  • EPA HVAC certification (not required).
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; able to perform physical job duties.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule & compensation

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday.
  • Some overtime, including weekends/on-call, as needed.
  • $22–$26 per hour DOE.
