Panoptic Group Is looking for an additional experienced residential construction project manager.

We are a growing Development and Construction company, specializing in higher end ground up new construction projects for the past 15 years. Our main focus is new construction multi-unit residential (12-34 unit projects) in the Chicagoland area. Since 2011, Panoptic Group has been dedicated to building energy-efficient, high-performing homes since 2011, completing a number of LEED and LEED Silver projects. We've been constantly evolving our construction methods and experimenting with the newest technologies to create better and more efficient homes.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an additional, experienced ground up Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise multiple construction projects from start to finish. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all assigned construction projects including:

  • Acquire and manage all building permits and other regulatory prerequisites

  • Plan and oversee the construction projects progress from start to finish

  • Prepare and manage project approved budgets and schedules to ensure that budgets scheduled are maintained

  • Have good overview of all subcontractor scope of work, drawings, and specifications

  • Coordinate field operations, labor, materials and subcontractor activities

  • Review, negotiate, and execute projects contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders

  • Utilize project management software to track project’s progress and provide daily status updates to relevant stakeholders

  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise, as well as proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions

  • Develop and complete "Punch List" items

  • Complete service calls and warranty requests for completed projects

  • On-call to respond to project emergencies, if they arise

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree is but not required

  • MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years construction experience for proven and solid understanding of construction and procedures in general and project planning and management in particular​​​​

  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently

  • Budgeting/forecasting experience, and general accounting knowledge is

  • Excellent problem-solving and written communication skills, with the ability to respond to client’s or co-workers issues both verbally and in writing.

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Proficient in English, Ukrainian and/or Polish. Preferably all 3. This is very important.

  • Good Computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Dropbox

  • Must be able to work on a small team, as well as on your own

  • Valid driver's license with dependable transportation required/background check required

 

This position offers a competitive base salary plus project performance bonus ($80-120K+ total depending on project load). Medical, dental, vision included. .
