Residential Construction Project Manager

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in scheduling and supervising daily trades in accordance with job schedule and budget
- Assist in scheduling and planning all construction activities on homes from start to finish on assigned project
- Inspect and ensure that work is in compliance with City/County/State requirements and building codes
- Obtain Purchase Orders by following company’s guidelines and procedures
- Maintain the construction documents so that all pertinent information is easily accessible to management and the other associates
- Maintain constant, positive communication with project manager throughout the entire construction process
- Maintain homes under construction as presentable to customers and within company standards
- Attend meetings with customer and oversee the construction, inspection and scheduling of the entire home
- Attend construction meetings as scheduled to communicate construction progress and home completion date to company
- Develop a strong environment conducive to proactive resolution of issues and strong commitment to producing a quality product in a timely manner
- Secure the company's property and protect it from theft, vandalism and damage
Requirements:
We seek an assistant to the Project Manager with:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction
- Strong organizational and people skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong problem solving skills
