We are looking for a Reserves Certifier for one of our clients with the following details:
Contract Duration: 4 weeks assignment
Location: Remote
Experience:
- 10-20+ years in Reservoir Engineering.
- 5+ years in reserves evaluation and booking.
- Experience with petroleum asset valuation and reserve audits.
Activities:
- To provide independent and technically sound assessment of hydrocarbon reserves and contingent resources, ensuring that reserve volumes, production forecasts, and economic evaluations are accurately estimated and compliant with applicable reporting standards.
- A Reserves Certifier (or Reserves Certification Engineer) is a specialized Reservoir Engineering professional responsible for independently evaluating, classifying, estimating, and certifying oil and gas reserves and resources in accordance with recognized industry standards such as PRMS (Petroleum Resources Management System). The certifier should be knowledgeable of Petrel RE, Eclipse and/or intersect dynamic modelling and preferably with thermal modelling experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess proved (1P), probable (2P), and possible (3P) reserves.
- Evaluate contingent resources and prospective resources.
- Perform independent reserves audits and certifications.
- Ensure reserves classifications comply with i.e. SPE PRMS guidelines
- Determine economic viability of reserves.
