Job Description
R&D Technician / Engineer Location: Salary up to £30,000 - £45,000 + Yearly Bonus + excellent company benefits \n\n To seize a significant growth opportunity, they are seeking top industry talent. \n\n Ideally our client are looking for a graduate, post-apprenticeship, or degree apprentice graduate, with relevant background in science or engineering discipline. Competent with a range of hands-on R&D activities, including basic electronics, soldering, wiring, mechanical assembly, CAD design and 3D printing, use of lab test equipment, planning and conducting experiments, data capture and trials.
You must have good communication and technical writing skills for contributing to project meetings and generating reports and presentations. \n Our client are looking for a practical, hands-on R&D Technician or Graduate Engineer/Scientist to support the development, testing and demonstration of advanced sensing and prototype systems. \n Carry out basic electronics work including soldering, wiring and board assembly.
\n Use CAD software and 3D printing to produce mechanical components. \n Operate lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies). \n Plan and conduct experiments, capture data and participate in system trials.
\n Work closely with engineers and scientists to support project goals. \n\n Degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in engineering or science. \n Competence with basic electronics and workshop tools.
\n Familiarity with CAD and 3D printing tools. \n Clear communication and technical writing skills. \n UK , eligible for security clearance.
