Job DescriptionJob Description

Day to day tasks will generally focus on process improvement, process development, and supporting SGNCOE prototype/product builds. Consultations and interactions with subject matter experts, project coordination with support functions, tracking key actions and milestones, and communication of project status to stakeholders will also be key factors to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability improvements and implement
• Develop robust processes that drive product and business goals
• Test products
• Pull data, analyze, and publish results
• Perform failure analysis using formal processes and communicate results
• Create documentation
• Communicate status to Leadership
• Train factory personnel as part of transition activities
Travel within US and/ or internationally may be required - 10%

YOU MUST HAVE
• Degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chem. Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering)
• Must be a US due to program security requirements
• Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
• ?1.5 years professional experience

• Experience with inertial instruments
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
• Demonstrated mastery of design tools appropriate for the field (MiniTab, Access, MS Office Suite, etc.)
• Six Sigma certification and demonstrated use of tools
• Demonstrated previous program experience & success
• Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
