A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Research Biologist in Harrisburg, PA. The Research Biologist would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Research Biologist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $30-$35 per hour (based on experience)
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Research Biologist Highlights

• 100% onsite in Harrisburg, PA
• The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm EST

Research Biologist Responsibilities

• Participates in planning design execution and management of research projects in a application based laboratory setting investigating the role of infectious agents in disease
• Funded through a research grant from Health Department the position focuses on gathering data analyzing data to provide early detection and help device detection methods for disease diagnosis.
• Processes specimens and keeps inventory and detailed records
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Research Biologist Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in biological science or related field with advanced courses or certificates in biotechnology or bioinformatics.
• Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Prior Lab Experience strongly desired.
• Multitasking, time management, and teamwork skills necessary
