Hill International is seeking a Reporting Engineer to support the Project. The role will focus on consolidating and analyzing project performance data, preparing structured reports for the client and management, and ensuring compliance with Hill Internationals reporting standards.
The Reporting Engineer is responsible for developing, consolidating, analyzing, and presenting accurate project reports to support effective decision-making and ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements. The role requires close coordination with planning, cost control, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to produce timely reports for the Client, PMC, and internal management.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Reporting
- Prepare and issue daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, HSSE, cost, and schedule performance.
- Consolidate input from multiple disciplines and contractors to develop unified project status reports.
- Ensure alignment of reports with contractual requirements and client reporting formats.
- Data Collection & Analysis
- Gather progress data from planning (Primavera P6 schedules), cost control, and site teams.
- Validate and analyze reported data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and project KPIs.
- Dashboards & Presentations
- Develop project dashboards, charts, and visual presentations for management and client meetings.
- Prepare highlight reports summarizing key achievements, delays, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Compliance & Governance
- Maintain reporting procedures and ensure consistency with Project Execution Plan (PEP).
- Support audits and ensure all reports are properly archived in the project document control system.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of reported information.
- Coordination
- Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, and quality teams to obtain timely inputs.
- Support Project Controls Manager and Project Director in executive reporting.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely submission of their progress reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 8 years of experience in project reporting within Oil & Gas / major infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in total, with at least the last 35 years spent on offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of project controls principles, progress measurement, and reporting systems.
