Rullion Is currently looking to recruit for the following role for one of our global leading clients in their Global Repair Network Team \n\nRepairs Engineer\nWarwick\nASAP Start\n6 months++++++\nInside IR35\n£46 Per hour PAYE/£62 Per hour Umbrella\nHybrid\nIndustry - Gas Turbine \n\nOur client has an exciting opportunity within the Global Repair Network Team working closely with their external network of MROCs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Centre's) and authorized Repair Vendors.\n\nThe Repair Engineer (FTC) role within the Repair Network Engineering Team will play a key part in supporting the existing global capability within the Global Repair Network Team as well as future capability developments.\n\nJob Role.\n\nSupport component repair development activities.\nAssess, investigate and sentence non-conforming components.\nSupport repair scheme amendment/writing and technical variances.\nSupport implementation of improvements & technical solutions (internally & externally).\nRepresent engineering in the wider community during reviews and discussions.\nMaintain regulatory compliance per company, and international standards.\nProvide technical support outside normal working hours as required (flexibility).\nPossible travel to MROCs & repair vendors to support engineering activities. \n\nRole Requirements.\n\nEngineering degree in a Mechanical, Materials or Manufacturing discipline. Alternatively, an acceptable level of academic and practical experience\nPreferably have some knowledge of gas turbines and/or industrial equipment along with repair / manufacturing techniques.\nAbility to understand component definition drawings and relate to the design intent in the engine assembly.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.\nYou will be able to interact at different levels and be a flexible self-starter.\nBe a team player and work with a wide range of people (both internal and external).\nDemonstrate ability to self-manage priorities within the team's objectives to achieve expectations.\nPreferably have some experience in a customer facing environment with a proven record of delivering technical solutions and improvements is advantageous.

\n\nProject Description\n\nOverview of business area and project details?\n\nWhat would the candidate be part of achieving if they joined the team?\n\nWhat does the team currently look like? (team size/structure)\n\nSiemens Energy has an exciting opportunity within the Global Repair Network Team working closely\n\nwith our external network of MROCs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Centres), Regional Service\n\nCentres and authorized Repair Vendors.\n\nThe Project Leader role is a senior role within the repair network team based in Warwick. \n\nYou will support the ongoing development of both short-term tactical capability programmes as well as\n\ncreating, and leading long-term strategic work streams that will ensure the correct levels of capability\n\nand capacity within the repair network is maintained and/or expanded as required.

\n\nYou will provide hands-on capability enablement support for both AGT Gas Turbines and Power Turbines, ensuring\n\nwe provide fast action responses, and create solutions that are cost effective, technically fit for\n\npurpose, and delivered in a timely manner, whilst contributing to the success of Siemens Energy.\n\nProject manager based within the repair network picking up long term and short term projects. \n\nTeam of 10x split into 3x parts - Engineering team, Parts team and commercial legal team \n\nKey Responsibilities and Deliverables. \n\nWhat will they do on a day to day basis?\n\nAssess, investigate, and devise project based technical support to allow progression of our key Power Turbine and Gas Generator capability programmes.\n\nProject support for our MRO capability development activity, this may include working off site\n\nwith customers/vendors.\n\nWork on fast passed issue resolution type projects that are dynamic in nature.\n\nBer capable of managing all aspects of project management including risk registers,\n\ncommunication plans and escalation processes.\n\nEnsure appropriate project KPIs are in place, monitored and communicated to the larger\n\nteam.\n\nSupport the MROC's and Regional Service Centres with a "hands on" approach for new to\n\nsite capability.\n\nWork closely with the extended MROC, Service Centres, and Repair Vendor network,\n\nanalyse technical data to identify, develop and apply optimum capability solutions.\n\nContinuously identify and implement improvements in the work environment and in technical\n\nsolutions delivered to the customer.\n\nYou may be required to provide technical support outside normal working hours.

\n\nFlexibility is required to meet customer requirements. \n\nYou may be required to travel to overhaul bases and service centres at short notice, and to build working relationships with these organizations, and manage the quality of their work.\n\nRequired skill set and previous experience/background.\n\nEssential vs Desirable \n\nEngineering degree, MSc, or equivalent qualification.\n\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical or technical experience. \n\nMinimum of 3 years' experience in leading programs and projects, ideally with a formal project management qualification.\n\nIdeally have working knowledge of gas turbines, power turbines, and/or aero derivative industrial equipment.\n\nExperience of operating in an MRO/field service or repair environment would be advantageous.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, and you will be able to interact at all levels, demonstrate initiative, and be a flexible self-starter.\n\nBe able to effectively communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.\n\nDemonstrate a high degree of autonomy and ability to self-manage priorities within the team's objectives to achieve customer expectations.\n\nProject management experience - repair and overhaul, Aero gas and turbine experience \n\nRepair Engineer experience \n\nIf available please send CV and a member of the team will be in touch\n\nRullion celebrates and supports and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants
