JOB SUMMARY: A growing small business in the renewable energy and construction industry. Family owned and no benefits yet. The company is planned to double in size in 2025 and again in 2026. Looking for an energetic person willing to be in a small growing company and to be involved in all aspects of the business.
Must work in the office and located in Anchorage.
Salary based on DOE
Renewable Energy Technician duties and responsibilities may include:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar panel systems, generators, and battery storage solutions.
- Perform electrical wiring and connections in accordance with safety standards and codes.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal system placement and design considerations.
- Assist with the design and layout of renewable energy systems, including system sizing and component selection.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to renewable energy equipment.
- Ensure all installations comply with local regulations and company quality standards.
- Educate clients on system operation, maintenance, and benefits.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures on job sites

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of solar panels, generators, and battery systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and relevant codes.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and working on roofs.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience assisting with the design of renewable energy systems is a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is .
- Relevant certifications

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
- Knowledge in accounting and payroll.
- Knowledge of payroll processes
- Poses computer application skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting operational deadlines.
- Profound communication skills.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
OSHA 10 or 30 is . Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
