Following successful completion of this period, you will move into a permanent position with a salary of £37,852 per year plus a £5,000 on-call allowance. Additional benefits include a company vehicle and ongoing professional development.\n\nWe Can Offer You:\n\nWork-Life Balance: 23 days annual leave + bank holidays, plus flexibility\nHealth & Wellbeing: 24/7 GP access, mental health support, fitness programs, and more\nTraining & Growth: Ongoing professional development to keep you at the top of your game \n\nYour Role\n\nYou will work on renewable energy and social housing projects, including:\n\nInstalling, testing, and commissioning domestic and/or commercial solar PV systems\nReading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings\nWorking with DC/AC circuits, inverters, isolators, and fault finding\nUsing remote monitoring systems, data loggers, and apps\nFollowing H&S protocols, risk assessments, and RAMS\nEnsuring compliance with UK building regs & DNO requirements\nReporting unsafe appliances, equipment, or installations\nOperating tools and machinery safely\nCarrying out all aspects of electrical works\nRegional travel (nationally if required)\nFlexibility for overtime or weekend work \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nRepair and replace electrical fittings\nDiagnose and rectify electrical faults\nComplete and report works using PDA systems\nWork in line with Health & Safety, Customer Service, and Performance policies\nReport accidents, near misses, and potential hazards\nDeliver excellent customer service, adapting to varied needs and schedules\nMaintain company tools and vehicle\nEnsure compliance with all safety regulations\nManage your own time and workload effectively \n\nWhat We Need From You\n\nRecognised Electrical Apprenticeship and/or full electrical qualifications (Essential)\nAM2 qualification\nNVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations (I.EE)\n2391 (Inspection & Testing)\nECS Gold Card (Essential)\nMCS Accreditation knowledge or experience (Microgeneration Certification Scheme)\nSolar PV qualification (e.g.
