We are seeking an experienced Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to support system-level activities for critical mechanical and hydraulic aircraft systems, including brake systems, hydraulic power systems, landing gear actuation, and steering systems. This is a remote opportunity supporting a major aerospace development program focused on high-integrity, safety-critical systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Verification & Validation (V&V) for aerospace mechanical or hydraulic systems

• Hands-on experience with systems such as brakes, hydraulic power units, landing gear, or steering systems

• Strong understanding of Design Assurance Levels (DAL) and safety-critical system classifications

• Familiarity with DOORS or equivalent requirement management platforms

• Experience working with system safety analyses (e.g., FMEA, FHA, FTA)

• Experience with DAL-A level systems and related catastrophic test planning

• Knowledge of ARP4754A / ARP4761 or similar aerospace safety standards

• Prior experience with aircraft certification programs
