Job Title: Remedial Electrician\n\nLocation: Peterborough & Surrounding Areas\n\nContract Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nSalary: £42,500 - £65,000 per annum (including overtime)\n\nHours: 45 hours per week (Overtime Available)\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are currently recruiting for a Remedial Electrician to join a leading electrical compliance provider that delivers high-quality services across a wide range of sectors including retail, manufacturing, automotive, and education. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out fault diagnosis and remedial work to ensure electrical safety and compliance.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, looking to work with a respected and growing organisation.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDiagnose, assess, and rectify faults in single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.\n\nCarry out electrical repairs and minor works on low voltage (LV) installations.\n\nOrder necessary parts and equipment required for tasks.\n\nWork in coordination with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor to align with maintenance schedules.\n\nEnsure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.\n\nMaintain accurate documentation and complete all required paperwork on time.\n\nProvide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.\n\nProduce accurate and concise reports using internal systems (CRM training provided).\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nStrong experience in electrical testing and installation in commercial and/or industrial environments.\n\nProficient in fault finding and delivering first-time fixes on electrical systems.\n\nExperience working on LV installations.\n\nEffective management of tools, materials, and time.\n\nUp-to-date knowledge of electrical legislation and safety standards.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and adapt to 24-hour operational environments.\n\nWillingness to use IT systems for reporting (training provided).\n\nQualifications\n\nRecognised time-served electrical apprenticeship (Contracting, Maintenance, or Mining).\n\nIET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential).\n\nCSCS Safety Passport or equivalent (Essential).\n\nAdditional Details\n\nImmediate Start Available\n\nCompetitive pay structure with guaranteed overtime\n\nComprehensive training and ongoing professional development\n\nHow to Apply\n\nTo apply for this role, please contact our Construction Team on (phone number removed).
