Job DescriptionJob DescriptionØ Performs in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures. To this end, bring together a committee of peers and guide the process.Ø Manage and prioritize projects and RCAs, ensuring effective planning and executionØ Proposes solutions resulting from the analyses, implements the selected options and ensures their effectivenessØ Studies the impact of general factors that can affect the performance of several pieces of equipment (e.g.: humidity level, electrical input performance, etc.)Ø Monitor our application of methods and technologies while proposing solutions to improve equipment reliabilityØ Ensure constant communication with the maintenance department to establish area prioritiesØ Continuously improve established maintenance processes including Defect Handling and Breakdown EliminationØ Train and coach operators to handle different aspects of maintenance including DH and BDE and CIDØ Reduced negative impact of machine reliability QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSv Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or other related degree or related experience will be considered in lieu of a degreev Demonstrated critical thinking skills to interpret, evaluate and analyze facts and information to support problem solvingv Ability to overcome ambiguous and complex situations with an open mind considering creative and standard processesv Strong organizational and prioritization skillsv Interest in the Lean Production System principles
