Responsibilities:
1. Clean up a SAP WO backlog to create a system that is effectively tracking the maintenance team"s priorities.
2. Establish Equipment Criticality Parameters then implement in SAP: Production, Safety, & Quality
3. Establish maintenance planning system & run meetings.
Weekly meeting with production, packaging, engineering on Thursdays
Review weekly completed tasks
What"s planned for next week.
What equipment will need to be down for PMs etc.
Daily meeting with Maintenance Team or Rep & Production Rep. (5 minutes/end of day)
Good for overnight? What is needed for tomorrow? Priorities
4. Assist with daily Maintenance Planning as needed.
5. Improve WO closeout process. Improve tracking of WO performance, documentation & follow-up actions. Spot check mechanics work follow up as needed. Share findings.
6. OEE (overall equipment effectiveness):
Develop goals beyond pure Dryer uptime
Track performance
React immediately to OEE related issues
7. Implement Risk Based Maintenance (RBM) actions
8. Root cause analysis on failures with implementation of revisions to program or Maintenance plans as needed.
9.Review of Vibration Analysis program, Evaluate reports, Implement findings, determine appropriate changes including evaluation installation of continuous monitoring on critical equipment.
10. Implement/strengthen other forms of predictive maintenance evaluations:
Oil analysis
Infrared scans of Electrical gear
Power study as needed to eliminate voltage deviations leading to premature motor failures
11. Strength Mechanical Integrity Program:
Determine regulatory compliance including Pressure Vessel inspections, RV testing, Review of RV records to evaluate technical basis is comprehensive.
Add all inspection requirements, testing & other regulatory requirements to SAP
UT documentation as needed.
Lead installation of Anodic Protection on Sulfuric Acid Tank.
Review & update Arc Flash analysis.
12. Optimize wrench Time for Mechanics.
Assist with Material Management
Start Kitting
Work to ensure interface with operations is effective & equipment is ready when work is to be performed
13. Review maintenance Plans for effectiveness alter as needed
Review weekly checks, lubrication, delta pressures, etc. for effectiveness
Implement new equipment
14. Strengthen Engineering Documentation
Develop system to Organize equipment files/drawings
Populate equipment files with existing information as available
P&I and Wiring Diagrams organization/as-builts
15. Develop Standards for the site
Piping and Service index that clarifies what piping specs are used for each service
Valves specs, solenoids, actuators
Bearings
Pump/Screw conveys/Rollers/etc. components including seals by service for critical
Electrical equipment
VFDs & controls, etc.

Requirements:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Project) or related field
Excellent Communications Skills (written & verbal)
