My client is a global materials technology and recycling group, committed to developing sustainable solutions for clean mobility and recycling. The Olen site is a key production facility within the Cobalt & Specialty Materials (CSM) Business Unit.
The Maintenance Engineering Department at CSM Olen is responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of production equipment and installations. The team focuses on improving machine reliability, optimising preventive maintenance plans, and supporting new projects with robust engineering practices.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
Investigate machine failures (Root Cause Analysis) and develop proposals to reduce downtime.
Analyse technical issues and propose effective solutions.
Create and optimise preventive maintenance plans.
Prepare and execute Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) exercises for new projects.
Define spare parts requirements for critical equipment.
Draft documentation for testing safety-critical components.
Potentially take on additional day-to-day tasks after onboarding.
Technical Profile Requirements
Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
5–7 years of experience in maintenance/reliability engineering, preferably in the process industry.
Strong technical knowledge in electromechanics (hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity).
Familiarity with maintenance techniques and basic knowledge of materials.
Proficient in SAP-PM and maintenance workflows (e.g., work order management).
