Reliability Engineer

Job Description Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Reliability Engineer with deep expertise in braking systems to join our client’s engineering team. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and maintainability of our products and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for safety engineering, and the ability to interpret complex technical documentation. Key Responsibilities Lead safety assessments and risk analyses for braking systems across multiple platforms. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate safety requirements into product development. Conduct reliability and maintainability analyses to support lifecycle safety planning. Develop and maintain safety documentation, including hazard analyses, FMEA, and fault tree analyses. Support incident investigations and root cause analyses related to braking system failures. Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in safety engineering. Required Qualifications Technical bachelor’s degree (or higher) Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety engineering, with a focus on braking systems. Proven ability to read and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Strong background in reliability and maintainability engineering principles. Experience with safety analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, FTA, hazard analysis). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Familiarity with relevant safety standards Qualifications Advanced degree or certifications in safety engineering or reliability engineering. Experience in automotive, aerospace, or rail industries.
