Salary: $75K–$95K annually

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to lead reliability and maintainability initiatives for vehicle systems. This role involves analyzing failure data, influencing design for maintainability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product lifecycle support. You will work closely with engineering, test, and aftermarket teams to ensure reliability standards are met and customer expectations exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
• Interpret and analyze failure data to recommend design improvements.
• Perform reliability and maintainability analysis using FMECA, RCM, and LORA methodologies.
• Support design reviews and provide input on maintainability requirements.
• Develop technical manuals and troubleshooting instructions in collaboration with documentation teams.
• Prepare and present technical reports to leadership and customers.
• Recommend solutions for Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).
• Participate in integrated project team meetings and provide technical assistance during all phases of development.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in reliability and maintainability engineering.
• Strong data analytics and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication skills; customer-facing experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Qualifications
• Background in manufacturing or automotive industries.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Experience with CAD software and PTC tools (Windchill, Creo).
• Familiarity with DFMEA and reliability testing processes.
• Programming knowledge (VBA, Arbor Text) is a plus.
