Job Purpose:
The Regional Sales Manager for the Rocky Mountain and Mid-West will be responsible for the day-to-day sales activities for the sales teams in these regions. The responsibilities include hiring, training, and providing professional development for their teams, setting weekly, monthly, or quarterly goals based on the team's performance to date. The Regional Sales Manager will also generate reports and track actual performance to goals/targets. The Regional Sales Manager must evaluate all aspects that generate new business while maintaining client relationships. They work closely with other departments to establish department budgets, encourage sales through marketing campaigns and address customer-related issues. The Regional Sales Manager will understand company strategic initiatives and highlight new solutions to prescribe and cultivate sales strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed regional sales targets and objectives.
· Team Management: Lead and manage a regional sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
· Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats within the region.
· Customer Relationship Management: Foster and maintain relationships with key clients and partners within the region.
· Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
· Budget Management: Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
· Forecasting: Generate accurate sales forecasts and reports for the region.
· Performance Metrics: Track and evaluate the performance of the regional sales team, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
· Sales Training: Implement training programs to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
· Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand market share and grow the customer base within the region.

Required Skills & Abilities:
· Minimum 10 years of experience in low voltage system sales, construction, estimating and project budgeting.
· Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare technology, security solutions, intercommunication systems and audio video solutions
· Experience with security and healthcare technology sales within large IDN settings
· Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
· Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales.
· Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
· Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy.
· Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
· Must be self-motivated and punctual.
· Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow-up skills both internally and externally.
Education, License and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent or relevant experience.
- 10+ years of Sales Management experience
Physical Requirements:
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input.
- Must maintain a clear background check to satisfy customer client site badging requirements.
- Must be willing to submit to all vaccinations and screening tests required for customer entry badging protocol.
- Maintain a clear drug and alcohol screening protocol.
Travel Requirements:
· Travel required – 75%
