Refrigeration Engineer in EC1

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for two experienced Refrigeration Installation & Service Engineers to join a growing team operating across London and the Home Counties.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Install and commission refrigeration and climate control systems\n\n * Service, maintain, and repair existing systems\n\n * Diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs to minimise downtime\n\n * Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system designs\n\n * Carry out system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting\n\n * Respond to reactive service calls as part of a call-out rota\n\n * Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations\n\n * Provide technical support and basic client guidance\n\n * Work to deadlines to ensure timely project delivery\n\n * Accurately complete all service and installation documentation\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience in refrigeration installation and/or service roles\n\n * Essential: CO₂ (R744) system experience\n\n * Strong mechanical knowledge with electrical experience highly desirable\n\n * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics\n\n * F-Gas certification (or equivalent) required\n\n * Experience with hydrocarbons and energy-efficient systems advantageous\n\n * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * Good communication skills and a professional approach\n\nPackage\n\n * Salary Circa £50,000 per annum\n\n * Regular overtime available\n\n * Call-out rota (1 in 4)\n\n * 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (Additional leave based on service)\n\n * Company pension scheme\n\n * Company van and all essential tools provided
