Refrigeration Engineer \n\nBirmingham (Covering Coventry, Leicester & Northampton also)\n Salary: £44,000 (40 hours)\nOvertime: Paid at x1.5 after 40 hours\nTravel: Door-to-door paid\nOn Call: 1 in 5 (£175 standby)\n\n We are currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established and growing business covering the Midlands region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a varied role working across a wide range of contracts and equipment.\n \nThe Role:\nYou will be responsible for service, maintenance, and repair across a portfolio of commercial and light industrial sites throughout Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, and Northampton.\n \nEquipment Covered:\n \nPackaged refrigeration (PAC systems) \nCO₂ refrigeration systems \nSmall distributed systems What’s on Offer:\n \n£44,000 basic salary (40-hour week) \nDoor-to-door travel pay \nOvertime paid at time and a half \nOn-call rota (1 in 5) with £175 standby payment \nCompany van & fuel card \nUniform & tools provided \n25 days holiday + bank holidays \n5% pension contribution \nDeath in service benefit \nHigh street discount scheme Requirements:\n \nProven experience within refrigeration/AC service and maintenance \nExperience working on CO₂ systems highly desirable \nF-Gas qualified \nFull UK driving licence This role offers strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and the chance to work across a diverse and interesting client base.
