Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £43,000 basic (OTE £50k–£55k with overtime + door to door travel)

What you’ll be doing:

Service and repair of a wide range of refrigeration and AC systems, including:



Cold rooms, cellar cooling & display cabinets

Upright & under-counter fridges/freezers

Ice machines & bottle coolers

VRVs, VRFs & split systems

Work mostly on refrigeration, with some air conditioning service/repair. What you’ll need:

FGAS Cat 1 qualification (essential)

NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (desirable)

Hydrocarbon or CO2 qualification (advantageous)

Full UK driving licence

Proven field-based experience in service, maintenance & repair What’s in it for you

£43,000 basic salary

OTE £50,000 – £55,000 (with overtime)

42.5-hour working week

7.5 hours required overtime (worth £7,605 annually)

Door-to-door travel paid

1 in 4 call-out rota (£200 standby)

Overtime paid at x1.5

Company van with private use option (pay per mile)

25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
