The successful candidate will play an integral role in day-to-day fleet maintenance operations, working within a clean, organized 3-bay shop performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair. What are the Responsibilities?
Regular service of a large commercial fleet of trucks and trailers, performing preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity
Use computerized & manual diagnostic techniques and devices to diagnose and isolate faults effectively
Identify malfunctions/future issues as part of preventative maintenance processes, repair/modify as necessary
Inspect engines, road test vehicles, test automative system & components
Adjust, repair, or replace parts and systems
Review and sign off on work orders, maintain accurate records of work performed
Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune ups
Uphold/adhere to strict safety standards
What are the Requirements?
Red Seal – preference for Commercial Transport, will accept Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Trailer Mechanic with appropriate experience
CVIP certification
3+ years of heavy truck & trailer maintenance experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Class 3 Driver’s Licensed desirable
Ability to work both day and afternoon shifts on a rotating basis
