Position Overview: X-Bow Systems is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Recruiting to support our Engineering team with sourcing, phone screens, and interview coordination. This role is ideal for someone pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or HR, with a strong interest in engineering and recruiting.

As an Engineering Recruiting , you will play a key role in identifying top engineering talent, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a seamless recruitment process. To succeed in this role, you must have a foundational understanding of engineering concepts and terminology to effectively communicate with candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing Engineering Talent:
    • Identify and engage with engineering candidates through various sourcing methods, including job boards, LinkedIn, and networking.
    • Screen resumes to match candidates with engineering roles and requirements.
  • Phone Screens:
    • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and alignment with the engineering team's needs.
    • Communicate effectively using engineering to evaluate candidates' qualifications.
  • Interview Coordination:
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews between engineering candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties.
    • Provide timely updates to candidates and hiring teams throughout the process.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management:
    • Maintain and update candidate records in the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Team:
    • Work closely with engineering hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide timely support.
    • Assist in creating job descriptions and recruitment strategies tailored to engineering roles.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Prepare reports and track recruitment metrics related to engineering hiring.
    • Organize recruitment-related data in SharePoint for accessibility and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or HR.
  • Strong interest in engineering and recruiting, with the ability to speak and understand engineering .
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruitment coordination or a related role is .
  • Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with interview scheduling and coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for data management is .
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, demonstrating a self-starter attitude.
