The company is a leading provider of design engineering services to multiple utilities/commercial nuclear power plants, and their business is growing by leaps and bounds. They have recently instituted having designated engineers in each discipline (Electrical/I&C, Mechanical, and Structural) to train and mentor new engineers. They are currently hiring Electrical and Structural Design Engineers.

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship ( or green card holder)

\n

• BS in Electrical or Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited ABET accredited college/university (graduating no later than Dec '26)

\n

• GPA minimum of 3.0

\n

• Ability to work in Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL

\n

• Exposure to the nuclear industry in coursework or through an or co-op.

\n

• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities

\n

\n

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Work with a team of engineers across disciplines on client projects involving modifications to existing power facilities and plant systems.

\n

• Participate in the design, preparation and integration of major equipment.

\n

• Prepare engineering calculations and analysis.

\n

• Perform tests, researches problems through various sources of technical information.

\n

• Design or modify components and determines the intent of a specification /instruction.

\n

• Make recommendations on the acceptability of materials supplied.

\n

• Provide support to engineering teams on a variety of client projects.
