About the Role

We’re looking for a versatile, hands-on problem solver to join our R&D and UAS team. This role blends mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, prototype assembly, systems integration, part 107 UAS piloting, and field service work. You’ll support both in-house development and field operations, working on ground robots, aerial platforms, and sensors.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, modify, and repair mechanical assemblies, electrical systems, and prototypes.
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Integrate and test robotic and drone systems.
  • Serve as a Field Service Representative (FSR), traveling to customer sites to support installations, training, and demonstrations.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in both lab and field environments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and customers to ensure successful deployment of systems.
  • Support product demonstrations and field evaluations.
  • Maintain and operate UAS platforms as a part 107 pilot.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical systems (formal degree not required).
  • Proficiency with shop tools, wiring, soldering, and basic circuit design.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and tasks.
  • Experience with CAD software. (Inventor or Solidworks )
  • Basic coding ability and familiarity with common microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32) is a plus.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Part 107 certification
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the security clearances necessary to access DoD bases and facilities.
