ROLE: R&D Product Director - LFP Battery Technology

Piper Maddox are partnering up with a very exciting battery manufacturer in Northern Europe who are seriously pushing the boundaries of Li-ion innovation. Theys specialise in the development and production of Li-ion batteries for Energy Storage Systems, with plans for 3 gigafactories!

They are gearing up for production this year and now seeking an R&D Product Director to lead their LFP technology Strategy team.

In this role you will:
⚡ Provide visionary leadership for product development, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability aligned with company goals.
⚡ Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap, driving innovation in LFP battery technologies and ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Your background:
✅ Advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
✅ 7+ years of industry experience, with expertise in project management and strategic implementation.
✅ Successful leadership in battery R&D, driving product launches.
✅ Expertise in managing cross-functional teams, meeting project goals.
✅ Proficient in strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving, with knowledge of intellectual property and safety standards.

Your role as R&D Product Direct for LFP will be critical for business advancement. You will provide direct input to the executive leadership team and report directly into the CSO.
