Job Title: Senior Procurement Analyst

Location: Long Island City, NY

Schedule: 8-hour workdays, with a 1-hour unpaid meal break

Summary of Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Analyst to join its dynamic team.

• This critical role is responsible for the full lifecycle of procurement activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and best value for the City in support of public health initiatives.

Job Duties:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to contract award, for a wide range of goods and services.
• Draft, review, and issue complex solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Analyze proposals and bids, and conduct cost and price analyses.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with federal, state, and city regulations, including the NYC Procurement Policy Board (PPB) rules. Prepare detailed reports on procurement status, metrics, and outcomes.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on procurement strategies and procedures. Work closely with legal, finance, and program teams.
• Guide and mentor junior procurement staff.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong problem-solver. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive f progressively responsible experience in government procurement or a related field.
