This position combines hands-on technical work with opportunities to influence raw material management across the supply chain. This is a great opportunity for someone with food manufacturing experience, looking to step into a more strategic and leadership-influenced role.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* End-to-end management of raw materials, including approval, risk assessments, compliance, and supplier performance monitoring.\n\n\n\n\n* Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with food safety, legal, and quality standards.\n\n\n\n\n* Perform risk assessments (HACCP, TACCP, VACCP) and proactively mitigate threats in the supply chain.\n\n\n\n\n* Maintain raw material specifications, compliance records, and audit outcomes using internal systems.\n\n\n\n\n* Collaborate with Procurement, Technical, and Quality teams to provide technical guidance and drive improvements.\n\n\n\n\n* Support continuous improvement by sharing best practices across sites\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKey Skills / Qualifications:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Raw Materials or Technical role within food manufacturing.\n\n\n\n\n* Strong understanding of raw material compliance, traceability, and supplier risk.\n\n\n\n\n* Experience conducting supplier audits and approvals.\n\n\n\n\n* Knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP.\n\n\n\n\n* Ideally holds a Food Science or related degree.\n\n\n\n\n* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work across teams and with suppliers.\n\n\n\n\n* Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBenefits:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* 35 days annual leave including bank holidays\n\n\n\n\n* Refer a friend scheme\n\n\n\n\n* Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme and Grocery Aid are free and confidential support services 365 days a year\n\n\n\n\n* Boparan Restaurant Group Discount - 50% discount for friends and family.\n\n\n\n\n* Cycle2Work Scheme\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\n\n\n\nAs one of the UK's largest food manufacturers, we provide ample opportunities for career growth and skill development.
