Rail Systems Maintenance Technician Level 3\n\nJob Description\n\nThe successful Rail Systems Maintenance Technician Level 3 will be responsible for carrying out reactive and corrective maintenance activities on CCTV, CIS, PHP, PAVA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is to work Monday to Friday days and cover TOC stations across West London and along M3/M4.\n\nSISS is essential to ensuring the travelling public are correctly informed and safe as they commute across our customer's rail networks, our maintenance service is critical to functioning of these systems\n\nRail Systems Maintenance Technician, what youll do:\n\nDaily reactive maintenance activities across SISS and Telephony systems (CCTV systems, IP Networks, Help Points, Screens, Public Address, CIS, PAVA and Wi-Fi)\n\nDaily, weekly, monthly and annual planned maintenance activities as defined by the Team Leader\n\nEnsuring SISS assets are well maintained, and station communication faults are reported and fixed\n\nUtilising field IT equipment to provide real time corrective and planned maintenance data\n\nProvide detailed reports to enable further investigations of referred faults\n\nWho you are:\n\nYoull have a previous experience within a similar role involving IP, CCTV, Access Control, PA, CIS knowledge or come from an electrical background and ideally have an understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures/processes.\n\nRail Maintenance Technician Key requirements:\n\nHave maintenance experience on either CCTV, CIS, PAVA, PHP, Access Control or come from an electrical background\n\nExperience of working with SLA driven maintenance contracts\n\nAn understanding of using ServiceNow or using IT for updating/closing jobs/reporting\n\nFull UK Driving Licence\n\nThe job holder will be required to work days, Monday to Friday\n\nWhat we offer:\n\nA career at Telent can span many sectors, roles, technologies and clients giving you the opportunity to develop, learn new skills and make an impact.
